More Science In Action Fun, as Dr Earl's guest is the Glacier Priest, Dr Bernard Hubbard (who also narrated Alaska's Silver Millions on this site). With

Dr Earl glowing in his white suit and Hubbard in black, you'll notice something odd. Anyways, the topic today is glaciers boys and girls, and the two go over demonstrations and film footage about them which is all very interesting stuff. Best moment, when the two are behind a plexiglass window to paste up some snowflakes, you can see the camera crew reflected on the other side! Also, instead of commercials, In one spot,Dr Earl introduces us to the university whoch sponsors SIA (a very good brisk little tour) and in the second spot it looks like a local spot for a kid winning a science fair competition sponsored by a bank. As a matter of fact, for appearing he gets a savings account made out in his name! No money, just the account! Joy! The animal of the week of course is that all-american pet, the California Ground squirrel, which should placate the kids for a while before they get rabies or whatever.
